After losing to Cle Elum-Roslyn the last time they met, Goldendale decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Goldendale blew past Cle Elum-Roslyn 48-27. Goldendale were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win bumped Goldendale's record up to 2-3. Cle Elum-Roslyn are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Goldendale will look to defend their home turf next week against Naches Valley at 7:00 PM. Unlike Goldendale, Naches Valley will be limping in after taking a loss. As for Cle Elum-Roslyn, they will face off against Highland. Both of those teams have had a rocky road up to this point with five consecutive losses apiece.
