After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Clinton, the Parklane Academy Pioneers were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 56-43 victory over Columbia Academy. For Parklane Academy, this counts as revenge for the 32-28 loss Columbia Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2020.
Parklane Academy found their leader in underclassman Zoe Alford, who scored 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Halle Bennett, who scored 11 points.
Parklane Academy has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Columbia Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Brookhaven Academy the next time they take the court. Parklane Academy will head out to face Brookhaven Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while Columbia Academy will host them at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
