With a playoff game on the line, the Reidsville Rams rose to the challenge on Thursday. They breezed by West Stokes at home to the tune of 42-7. The win was familiar territory for Reidsville who now have eight in a row.
Reidsville was led to victory by AL Lee and Jariel Cobb. Lee threw for 215 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes, while Cobb rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. Lee hasn't dropped below three passing touchdowns for five straight games.
Despite the loss, West Stokes saw an underclassman step up: Nate Akers gained 80 total yards and a touchdown.
Reidsville pushed their record up to 11-1 with that win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.82 points. As for West Stokes, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
Reidsville's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Brevard at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Brevard is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. West Stokes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
