St. Luke's has not had much luck with King recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the defeat, St. Luke's saw an underclassman step up: Ethan Bienaime scored 20 points along with seven rebounds. Gavin Sommers was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, Rye Country Day had to start their season on the road back in December of 2023, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 47-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rye.
