The Madison Mohawks will be home for the holidays to greet the Brookville Blue Devils at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Brookville took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Madison, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, Madison didn't have too much trouble with Franklin at home as they won 59-44.
Meanwhile, Brookville came up short against Waynesville on Tuesday and fell 60-52. Brookville has not had much luck with Waynesville recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Cole Crabtree put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored eight points along with six assists and four steals. Those six assists set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Braedan Smart, who scored eight points.
Madison now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Brookville, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.
Madison couldn't quite finish off Brookville when the teams last played back in January and fell 52-50. Can Madison avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
