University Prep can now show off 18 landslide victories after their most recent  contest  on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Riverside Prep Silver Knights  an   18-0 shutout. The  win was familiar territory for University Prep who now have eight in a row.
 The result came thanks to  Carsyn Leon's shutout, as she gave up just four  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Dani Jackman was a standout: she went 3-for-3 with a  home run and four  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Vic Patino, who  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, three  doubles,  and two  RBI.
 On Riverside Prep's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Rachel Lillibridge, who  went 2-for-2 with a  double.
 University Prep has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 13 of their last 14 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 25-3 record  this season. As for Riverside Prep,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 12-15-1.
 University Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverside Prep, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Big Bear at 3:15  p.m.  on Thursday.
