While Lamar couldn't topple Lee Central on Friday, it's impossible to ignore the impact made by underclassman Lamont Williams. Williams went 10-for-17 on his way to 24 points along with 12 boards and three assists, which was good enough to set a new career-high in assists in the process. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Looking ahead, Williams and Lamar are taking a road trip to challenge Abbeville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
