Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Silsbee). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Jasper Bulldogs 99-34. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Silsbee's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ayana Washington, who went 12 for 19 en route to 30 points and five assists. Those 30 points gave Washington a new career-high. Jena Warden was another key player, going 11 of 19 on her way to 28 points along with seven assists and three steals.

Silsbee smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 19 consecutive matchups.

Silsbee pushed their record up to 18-8 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.6 points per game. As for Jasper, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.

Coincidentally, Silsbee and Jasper will both be playing Bridge City the next time they take the court. Silsbee will head out to face Bridge City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Jasper will host them at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th.
