Basketball Recap: North Rockland Wins Going Away Against White Plains

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for North Rockland on Tuesday. They strolled past the White Plains Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 48-33. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 49-40 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Kiersten Daly was a one-woman wrecking crew for North Rockland as she posted 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaidah Arce, who put up 11 points.

White Plains' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Emily Plata, who had 12 points, and Paige Kearon, who earned eight points along with six boards and three steals. Those three steals gave Kearon a new career-high. Sa'Mya Melvin was another key player, putting up five points.
