The Washington-Wilkes Tigers won the last time they faced the Taliaferro County JAGUARS, and things went their way on Monday too. Washington-Wilkes blew past Taliaferro County 72-50.
Several JAGUARS players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jemauri Merritt, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 rebounds and nine blocks. Orlandus Craft was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds.
Washington-Wilkes' win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-14. As for Taliaferro County, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.
Washington-Wilkes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Taliaferro County also has no future games currently scheduled.
