 In other batting news,  Dahlia Oviatt was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run, three  runs,  and two  RBI. What's more,  she also posted a .667  batting average, which is the highestshe's  posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was  Leora Hagan, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
 Lyons was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .483. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Valley only posted a  batting average of  .000.
 Meanwhile, Arvada lost  21-15 to Kennedy on Saturday.
  Alicia Montoya led a balanced group of hitters,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in four of her six plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Amiah Picaso, who  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with two  runs, a  triple,  and  an  RBI.
 Lyons is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record  this season. As for Arvada, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.
 The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Saturday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster.
