Baseball Recap: Red Lion Christian Academy Has No Trouble Against Odyssey Charter

Red Lion Christian Academy got themselves on the board against Odyssey Charter on Tuesday, but Odyssey Charter never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Owls. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Owls recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Logan Hill made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base was his first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Anthony Contessa, who scored four runs and stole five bases while going 3-for-4. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jude Collins, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.

Red Lion Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Odyssey Charter only posted an OBP of .238.

Red Lion Christian Academy pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
