Northside took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Pulaski County Cougars 48-19. The Vikings pushed the score to 34-13 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cougars had little chance of recovering from.
Casey Hall was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 284 yards and three TDs on only 13 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Josue Ramirez, who rushed for 78 yards and one score on only six carries.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northside is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Cave Spring at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pulaski County, they will take on Tazewell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
