Baseball Recap: Millsap Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Millsap entered their tilt with Wyatt on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Chaparrals 16-2. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by ten runs or more this season.

Devon Briscoe was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Corey Goen, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Millsap always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .727. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .613 or higher in four consecutive contests.

Millsap's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Wyatt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Coming up, Millsap will venture away from home to challenge Rio Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wyatt, they will take on UME Preparatory Academy in a tournament on Saturday.
