West Port will head out to face Freedom after giving up their first home loss of the season on Wednesday. The Wolf Pack took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dunnellon. The Wolf Pack have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
West Port started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-19, 25-13, 25-15.

Despite the loss, West Port saw an underclassman step up: freshman Luis Monserat had 22 digs and five aces. Monserat is crushing it when it comes to digs: he's had at least 17 every time he's taken the court this season.
Meanwhile, Freedom came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Bulldogs as they made off with a 3-0 victory.
Freedom not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept St. Cloud between 15 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17, 25-16.
West Port better keep an eye on Jan Paul Matos. He was instrumental in Freedom's win, getting eight digs and two aces. That's the most aces Matos has posted since back in March.
Freedom was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Cloud only served one ace.
West Port's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Freedom, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's contest: West Port hasn't let much over the net this season, having averaged 8.8 blocks per game. It's a different story for Freedom, though, as they've been averaging only 1.2 blocks. Given West Port's sizable advantage in that area, the Patriots will need to find a way to close that gap.
