After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Walton, Baker was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 69-37 win over the Northview Chiefs. The Gators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 21 points or more this season.

AJ Chilton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 19 points. Cole Hardin was another key player, posting 13 points.

Baker's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.5 points. As for Northview, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Baker won't have much time to rest: their next game is against L.E.A.D. Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Baker is facing L.E.A.D. Academy at the right time seeing as L.E.A.D. Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Northview, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pensacola Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
