Windham has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against The Londonderry Lancers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Hampshire (Windham is ranked tenth, while Londonderry is ranked third).
Windham put the finishing touches on their third blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They put the hurt on Concord with a sharp 27-7 win.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Windham to victory, but perhaps none more so than Billy Depietro, who rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and also threw for 59 yards and a touchdown. Tiger An was in the mix as well, providing Windham with two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Londonderry entered their tilt with Salem with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Londonderry enjoyed a cozy 28-14 win over Salem on Friday.
Windham's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Londonderry, their win was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-1.
Windham came up short against Londonderry when the teams last played back in September, falling 21-14. Can Windham avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
