V Section VI recap September 17, 2013
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy scaled the state rankings by moving to 110 from 143 this week, the biggest jump in V Section VI. The Lions climbed the ranks as a result of topping Scottsdale Christian Academy 42-0.
Imagine Prep Coolidge was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from seventh to fourth in the league. The Eagles beat Sequoia 40-18 earlier in the week.
Jacob Frithsen and Taylor Fitzgerald gave Pusch Ridge Christian Academy a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Frithsen threw for 60 yards, while Fitzgerald ran for 341 yards. Teammate Tyler Overstreet added to the ground attack by rushing for 48 yards.
Frithsen and Fitzgerald gave Troy Cropp's team a balanced attack through the air and ground last week.
Fitzgerald was a force in the backfield as the Lions topped the Eagles.

Frithsen put up the best numbers in passing as the Lions bested Kevin Allen's team.
Dominick Kelly was the best wideout in the league this week as San Tan Foothills topped Miami. Kelly racked up 2 receptions for 51 yards.
Fitzgerald was the best running back in V Section VI this week.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place San Tan Foothills takes on second place San Carlos. Last week, the Sabercats bested the Vandals, while San Carlos topped Tanque Verde.
Santa Cruz Valley lost to Bisbee 50-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
