The Farmingdale Dalers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 72-57 victory over Freeport. Farmingdale's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Despite the loss, Freeport had strong showings from Latrell Tucker, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds, and Elijah Darby, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds. That's the first time this season that Tucker pulled down eight or more rebounds.
Farmingdale's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Freeport, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
Farmingdale will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Academy Charter at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. As for Freeport, they will head out on the road to challenge Massapequa at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
