Echo couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 13-38 walloping at Harper's hands.
Meanwhile, Dayville/Monument took care of business in their home opener. They enjoyed a cozy 27-12 win over Prairie City.
Dayville/Monument's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Echo's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Dayville/Monument can add another positive mark to their record or if Echo can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Dayville/Monument's step.
