If Sequatchie County was riding high  off their  18-4 takedown of Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sequatchie County Indians wound up on the wrong side of a  rough 20-10 walloping at the hands of the Marion County Warriors on Thursday. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.
  Grace Kelly and  Cana Green did some serious damage despite the final result:  Kelly  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4, while  Green  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2.  Jalyn Kelly was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Even though they lost, Sequatchie County was hitting in the alleys and  finished the game with four  doubles. That's the most  doubles they've managed all season.
 Sequatchie County now  has a losing record at 2-3. As for Marion County,  the  win  got them back to even at 2-2.
 Sequatchie County is on the road again  on Friday to play Whitwell at 8:00  a.m. Sequatchie County is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 11.8  runs per game this season. As for Marion County, they will head out on the road to  take on  Tullahoma at 1:00  p.m.  on Friday. Tullahoma knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  team has finished with flashy  run totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Marion County likes a good challenge.
