The Pacelli Cardinals put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 75-20 victory over Rosholt at home. Fans of Pacelli have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Jaydon Awe continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Pacelli's points. Camden Schurk was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds.
Pacelli's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Rosholt, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Pacelli will head out on the road to face off against Iola-Scandinavia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Iola-Scandinavia will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings (they are ranked 205th, while Pacelli is ranked 70th). As for Rosholt, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Northland Lutheran at 7:15 p.m.
