The Reedley Pirates had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 61-46 victory over Exeter on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Reedley also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Several Monarchs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aden Plyman, who scored 14 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Andrew Taylor, who scored 18 points.
Reedley's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-17. As for Exeter, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 14 of their last 15 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season.
Reedley will face off against Delano at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Delano is coming into the contest with four straight losses at home, meaning Reedley will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. Exeter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
