Mather came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Bulls College Prep Bulls 13-3. Considering the Rangers have won ten games by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

David Goytia was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with seven stolen bases and four runs. He has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last ten times he's played. Jadier Castillo was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with five stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

Mather was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .381. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Mather's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Bulls College Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Mather has already played their next matchup, a 7-0 defeat against Clemente on the 23rd. As for Bulls College Prep, they are taking a road trip to square off against Thornton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulls are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
