The Pecatonica Vikings lost against the Warren Warriors back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Pecatonica ended up on the wrong side of a rough 70-50 walloping at the hands of the Warriors. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pecatonica in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost three in a row.
Warren got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Treyton Pafford out in front who scored 28 points. Pafford has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. Teagan Sabinson was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
Pecatonica has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Warren, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-14.
Pecatonica won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Silver Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on February 6th. Weston is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. Warren will take on the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
