Boonville is 1-6 against Forest Park since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Boonville Pioneers will head out on the road to square off against the Forest Park Rangers at 8:00 p.m. Boonville is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Boonville came up short against Mt. Vernon and fell 52-45.
Meanwhile, Forest Park earned a 60-51 win over Jasper on Saturday. The victory was just what Forest Park needed coming off of a 70-42 loss in their prior game.
Boonville has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for Forest Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.
Boonville came out on top in a nail-biter against Forest Park when the teams last played back in February of 2023, sneaking past 54-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Boonville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
