Antonian Prep came into Friday's contest looking for another win against St. Michael, but Nico Anderson wouldn't allow it. The Warriors snuck past the Apaches with a 47-42 victory on Friday with plenty of help from Anderson, who threw for 368 yards and five TDs while completing 73.5% of his passes, and also punched in a pair of touchdowns on the ground. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 302.6 passing yards per game.

Topper Sterling and Rogan Parson certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Sterling gained 273 total yards and two touchdowns, while Parson rushed for 59 yards and three scores on only eight carries. Parson is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

St. Michael's now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Antonian Prep, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Michael's will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against St. Pius X at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. As for Antonian Prep, they will welcome Savio at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Apaches will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.2 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
