The KIPP Tulsa University Prep Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by Memorial on the road and fell 87-28. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points KIPP Tulsa University Prep has scored all season.
It was another big night for Fabian Harris, who went 9 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and 1 assists for Memorial. Those 31 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalil Cotton, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.
KIPP Tulsa University Prep's loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-7. As for Memorial, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.
KIPP Tulsa University Prep will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mingo Valley Christian at 8:00 p.m. on January 12, 2024. Memorial won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Oklahoma City S at 4:30 p.m. on December 15th. Oklahoma City S will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 380th, while Memorial is ranked 115th).
