Aedan Mccarthy's Big Game Leads Bluffton over Colleton County
Starting off the list is Bluffton's Aedan Mccarthy, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Mccarthy threw for 276 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes, and also rushed for 56 yards.
The victory (which was Bluffton's third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Mccarthy and Bluffton will venture away from home to take on Bishop England at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Mahoney Came Up Big in Bishop England's 31-14 Win
Quinn Mahoney was a major factor in Bishop England's win over Beaufort on Friday. Mahoney turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 192 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 45 yards.
Bishop England pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Mahoney and Bishop England will be playing in front of their home fans against Bluffton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Carnell Warren Makes It Two for Bluffton
The second Bluffton player making an appearance here is Carnell Warren, and for good reason. He picked up 122 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 68 yards.
Colleton County had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Warren it was a similar story. Warren picked up 131 receiving yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Cougars duked it out back in October of 2023.

Jacobi Saunders Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Bluffton got the W thanks in part to Jacobi Saunders playing the best football he has all season. Saunders forced two fumbles and made 11 total tackles (1.0 for loss). The effort also marked the most rushing yards (three) he has had since back in November of 2023. He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season.
For the year, Saunders has averaged 7.7 total tackles per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 1.29 total tackles per game.

Rounding off our Top Five is Thaddeus Czarnecki of Hilton Head Island. Czarnecki rushed for 74 yards on only nine carries.
For the year, Czarnecki has averaged 66 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 24.83 rushing yards per game.
