Despite the loss, Amite still got an impressive performance from Byron Jennings, who scored 13 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 steals. Another player making a difference was Braylon Jackson, who scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
Lakeshore now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Amite, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Lakeshore will look to defend their home court on Friday against Covington at 6:00 p.m. As for Amite, they will head out on the road to face off against Varnado at 10:40 a.m. on Saturday.
