Sevastopol will challenge Oneida Nation on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Neither Sevastopol nor Oneida Nation could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
Sevastopol ended up a good deal behind Newman when they played last Thursday. Sevastopol's loss came about despite a quality game from senior Nathan Stenzel, who picked up 92 yards on the ground and accumulated 88 passing yards. In fact, with 10 tackles Stenzel was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Oneida Nation took a serious blow against Wausaukee, falling 0-52. Oneida Nation were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-44.
The losses dropped Sevastopol to 2-1 and Oneida Nation 1-2. The Sevastopol defense had it out for the quarterback last game and accrued 4 sacks, so hopefully Oneida Nation's offensive line has put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the match.
