Tottenville won the last time they faced Madison and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Pirates put the hurt on the Golden Knights with a sharp 8-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Tottenville's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Madison, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Coming up, Tottenville will venture away from home to face off against Brooklyn Technical at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Engineers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Madison, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Van Arsdale at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
