Hayden had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victor by a 67-44 margin over the Center Point Eagles on Monday. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 23 points or more this season.

Hayden pushed their record up to 19-6 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.9 points per game. As for Center Point, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-22.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Hayden Wildcats face off against the Springville Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Springville will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Hayden surely won't give up without a fight. Center Point does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
