Hartselle came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Winfield Pirates 11-5. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Hartselle pushed their record up to 13-9-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Winfield, their loss ended a ten-game streak of away wins and brought them to 28-6.
