The Hayden Tigers struggled with threes on Saturday (the Manila Mustangs had 900% more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Hayden took a serious blow against Manila, falling 73-32. Hayden was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-13.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Logan Brown, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cale Howard, who scored 12 points along with 8 rebounds.
It was another big night for RIley Browning, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 10 rebounds for Manila. The matchup was Browning's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Wyatt Muir was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
Hayden's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Manila, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Hayden will head out on the road to face off against Meeker at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Manila will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Monument Valley at 8:30 a.m. on December 15th.
