After five games on the road, Owens Valley is heading back home. Having just played yesterday, they will get right back to it and host the Lee Vining Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on February 7th. Owens Valley comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
On Tuesday, Owens Valley took a serious blow against Lone Pine, falling 64-15. Owens Valley was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-5.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Lee Vining, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 43-29 loss to Big Pine last Tuesday. Lee Vining has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Owens Valley's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Lee Vining, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
