This season hasn't been kind to the Fox Foxes, who are still winless after their fourth game. They were outmatched by Healdton at home and fell 52-19. Fox was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-9.
Healdton found their leader in underclassman Jamiel Franklin, who scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Waddle, who scored 4 points along with 5 steals.
Fox has yet to win a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 0-4 record. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.8 points per game. As for Healdton, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fox has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Paoli at 8:00 p.m. on December 11th. Healdton will take on S & S Consolidated at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully S & S Consolidated focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Tuesday.
