Somerset Academy - Canyons never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 53-0 win over the Pine Knights. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Somerset Academy - Canyons found their leader in sophomore Ava Wotipka, who threw for 244 yards and six touchdowns while completing 83.3% of her passes. Another player making a difference was Jayda Simmons, who gained 35 total yards and three touchdowns.

One reason for the win was Somerset Academy - Canyons' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Leading the way was Skylar Berins with two.

The victory made it two in a row for Somerset Academy - Canyons and bumps their season record up to 11-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 points in those games. As for Pine, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.
