Winning always takes teamwork, but on Saturday Khalia Williams stepped things up a notch to give Champaign Central the 'W'. Williams made a major impact, putting up six points and four steals. Thanks to that strong showing, she's now averaging 2.2 steals per game.

Williams and Champaign Central will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Richwoods at 6:00 p.m. on December 5. The Maroons have some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since November of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
