The Royal Palm Beach Wildcats fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They enjoyed a cozy 41-22 victory over Leonard on Friday. Royal Palm Beach pushed the score to 28-6 by the end of the third, a deficit Leonard cut but never quite recovered from.
Royal Palm Beach got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tommy Tipton iii out in front who rushed for 124 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Demetrice Rolle, who rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Ronari Wilkins and Jordan Souther certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Wilkins picked up 115 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Souther threw for 183 yards and two touchdowns. Wilkins has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more receiving yards the last three times he's played.
Royal Palm Beach's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Leonard, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
