Volleyball Recap: Vandegrift's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Vandegrift can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the McNeil Mavericks. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Vipers this season.

Vandegrift walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 25-13.

The win got Vandegrift back to even at 10-10. As for McNeil, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.

Vandegrift will take on The Woodlands in a tournament on Thursday. As for McNeil, they are taking a road trip to challenge Hutto at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
