Ta'john Royster Delivers Best Performance of Season
Ta'John Royster produced his most outstanding game to date while leading East to the win on Friday. Royster rushed for 158 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The victory (which was East's sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Royster and East will take on Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Davell Brock Goes Supernova in Linden-Mckinley Victory
Davell Brock was instrumental in extending Linden-McKinley's winning streak to four on Friday. Whetstone had no answer to Brock as he rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and also threw for 144 yards and two touchdowns.
Linden-McKinley's win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-3. Brock and Linden-McKinley will head out to take on Mifflin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Northland Gets a Boost from Harrison in 58-6 Win
Northland found a leader in Akeilles Harrison as the team took down Mifflin on Friday. Harrison turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 165 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes, and also rushing for 50 yards.
Northland pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Harrison and Northland will take on Whetstone at 6:50 p.m. on Friday.

Aaron Britford and Co. Win Sixth in a Row
East picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Aaron Britford. Britford was dynamite, rushing for 125 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries.
For the year, Britford has averaged 73.5 passing yards per game.

Darion Matlock's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Darion Matlock posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 79 yards. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 69 yards.
