Last Thursday, Emmett was the victim of a tough 59-35 loss at the hands of Columbia. Emmett has struggled against Columbia recently, as their game on Thursday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Emmett's loss came about despite a quality game from Natalie Goslin, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds.
Emmett struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Even though Ridgevue has not done well against Mountain Home recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Ridgevue came out on top against Mountain Home by a score of 43-32. The win made it back-to-back wins for Ridgevue.
Emmett's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-5. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.0 points per game. As for Ridgevue, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
