Softball Recap: Halfway Wins Again with 7 Points

Halfway came tearing into Sunday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 53.0 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They beat the Monett Cubs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-4.

Halfway has now won 16 of their last 17 games at home. That gives them a 12-1 record this season. As for Monett, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Monett wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-1 defeat against Aurora on the 13th.
