On Thursday, Central Wisconsin Christian made easy work of Wayland Academy and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Central Wisconsin Christian relied on the efforts of Hannah Abel, who had six aces and five digs, and Tirzah Ritzema, who had eight assists and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Ritzema a new career-high in digs (two). Kelsie Bos also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Oakfield won the last time they faced Lomira and Lily Collien did her part to make sure it happened again. The Oaks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lions on Tuesday with plenty of help from Collien, who had 12 digs and two assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last four times she's played.
Oakfield's got stronger as the match went on, holding Lomira to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20, 25-19.
Central Wisconsin Christian's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Oakfield, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's contest: Central Wisconsin Christian has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 8 aces per game. However, it's not like Oakfield struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.9 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
