Cole Reibsome posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He was dominant the last time he took on Bloomsburg back in March of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Reibsome also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Mifflinburg is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-2 otherwise.

Coming up, Reibsome and Mifflinburg will be playing in front of their home fans against Warrior Run at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are a perfect 3-0 against the Defenders going back to May of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
