Casey-Westfield has won six straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond has won six straight on the road also dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much  on Thursday. The Casey-Westfield Warriors will host the Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Knights  at 4:30  p.m. Casey-Westfield will be strutting in after a  win while Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond will be coming in after a  loss.
On Tuesday, Casey-Westfield got the win against Sullivan  by a conclusive  20-2. The  victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Redskins: they've now won three in a row.
 Arhianna Bonds made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. Bonds was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI.

 In other batting news,  Tristan Ring was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and one  triple. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Whitney Fuller, who  went 1-for-3 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs.
 Casey-Westfield  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .788. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sullivan only posted  an  OBP of  .353.
Meanwhile, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond came up short against St. Teresa on Tuesday and fell  8-3.
Like Casey-Westfield, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond also got a great game from a two-way player:  SOPHIA MONTS. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out nine batters over  seven innings while giving up  five earned  (and three unearned) runs off   seven  hits. What's more,  MONTS gave up only four  walks, the fewest she's  had since back in March of 2024. She was even better at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  ANNA RAWLINS was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-4 with three  RBI and one  double.  ANNABELLE VANAUSDOLL was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Everything went Casey-Westfield's way against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond in their previous matchup  back in March of 2024, as Casey-Westfield made off with  a  15-0 win. Will Casey-Westfield repeat their success,  or does  Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
