Asheville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Aynor Blue Jackets as they made off with a 15-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won nine contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Asheville's victory bumped their record up to 15-5-1. As for Aynor, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Asheville will take on T.C. Roberson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Aynor, they will face off against Dillon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
