Guyer lost against Bishop Lynch back in August of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Friars by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Malayna Boyles paced Guyer's offense, picking up 16 kills. Boyles got some help from Chloe Marenic and her 17 assists.

Guyer's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Bishop Lynch, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-3.

Guyer has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against The Colony on the 30th. As for Bishop Lynch, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Walnut Grove on the 30th.
