Grand Ledge had won six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 11-9-1 to make it seven. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the East Lansing Trojans. That's more bragging rights for the Comets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Hailey Ellis paced Grand Ledge's offense, picking up eight kills. Ellis got some help from Avery Klopp and her 13 assists. Ellis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
